Responsibilities

  • Design and build data pipelines to collect, process, and store data from various sources.
  • Develop centralized data assets platforms for managing and accessing data effectively.
  • Implement automated SQL generation tools to optimize query creation based on user-defined criteria or business needs.
  • Create new intellectual properties (IPs) in areas of expertise in Singapore.
  • Collaborate on innovation projects with Institutes of Higher Learning or Research Institutes to develop new technologies.
  • Provide short-term overseas support for process development.

Requirements

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Airflow).
  • Experience in database management with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms for deploying and managing data infrastructure.
  • Expertise in data modeling and data quality validation techniques.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, or Ansible.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms for tasks like query optimization and anomaly detection.
