Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, deployment, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure to support applications and services.
- Support senior engineers in monitoring and maintaining AWS infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in provisioning cloud resources using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
- Learn and contribute to infrastructure deployment automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Help manage AWS security best practices, including access control (IAM), encryption, and network security.
- Monitor system performance using AWS tools like CloudWatch, troubleshoot issues, and support resolution.
- Assist in implementing backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes for cloud systems.
- Automate routine tasks using scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve infrastructure issues and enhance AWS environments.
- Stay updated on AWS services and best practices, continuously improving knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services and familiarity with cloud or virtual environments.
- Understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
- Some experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong desire to learn AWS cloud infrastructure and tackle challenging technical problems.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
